Where: AC Recital Hall
Price: $5 or five addresses/person (applies to admittance and performer’s fee); $2 raffle tickets

Do you play an instrument? Can you sing? Could you possibly be a back-up dancer? Since “Letters with Lindsey”  coincides with Tri Delta’s letter writing campaign, which raises funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, they are asking guests to bring the addresses of friends, family, teachers, etc. and write letters asking for donations. You also have the chance to support your other Greek friends on campus. Just come to the event, purchase a ticket in the name of whichever sorority or fraternity you choose, and whichever Greek organization gets the most showing wins 10 percent of the profits for their philanthropy of choice. Tri Delta will also be selling $1 raffle tickets at the event. For more information or to register your act, stop by the Tri Delta table outside the Caf’.

The winners of the Spirit Competition will also be announced at Tasting at the Tents, so at least come and see who gets the honor of being Millsaps’ greatest fan. After you’re full of brunch deliciousness, head on down to the football field. The game starts at noon and our homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime.

This Saturday SAPS will be doing something a little different for Homecoming: SAPStock, a three-act concert across musical genres. We will be featuring Backroad Anthem, a country act, The Red Thangs, an alternative act, and headlining Travis Porter. The show will start at 8 p.m. on Galloway Green and will go until 1 a.m., with each act playing for about an hour and a half. If you liked the Molly Ringwald’s concert last semester, then this is definitely a show you want to go to. SAPStock will have the same kind of vibe, large white tent and all. SAPStock will be free for students, and $5 for a guest pass, which will be available for purchase outside of the Caf’ all week and at the show Saturday night. Hope to see y’all there!
