The Tasting at The Tents Cookout Competition is exactly what its name implies. Many organizations around campus have entered into the competition to show off their skills in the kitchen (or in this case, the tent).  The event will take place in the Millsaps Plaza and fountain area from 10 am to 11:30 am.

Here are the organizations on campus preparing food:

• Jewish Cultural Organization (Latkes)
• Millsaps Christian Fellowship (Chocolate Chip/Cream Cheese Dip)
• Classics Club (Bacon Wrapped Dates)
• BOBA (Bahn Mi)
• Phi Mu (Caramel Apple Cake Pops)
• Chi Omega (Shrimp Scampi Stuffed Mushrooms)
• Delta Delta Delta (Not sure)
• Kappa Delta (BBQ Nachos)
• Lambda Chi Alpha (Crack Dip/Rotel Queso)
• Sigma Alpha Epsilon (Chicken Taco Soup)
• Kappa Alpha Order (Finger Sandwiches)
• Pi Kappa Alpha (Gumbo)
• Black Student Union (Jambalaya)

There will be one overall winner chosen in this competition, and the prize is a $200 programming stipend from campus life.
