It can be so easy to get sucked into the “Millsaps Bubble” and not come up for months at a time. Well The Purple and White staff recognizes this student problem, so we have dedicated a whole section purly for local, national, and world news to pump a little fresh air into the bubble.

The way you look and talk about issues changes by the minute, and although we cannot promise to give you a minute-to-minute explosion of news under this tab, our staff will work to bring you substantial articles on current affairs written by Millsaps students, with Millsaps students in mind. We will work to make each article a compendium of pictures, videos, and additonal links to content from other news sources to help us all grasp a fuller and richer picture of what it is we think you need to know (you know, something “news-worthy”).
