The Majors opened the game on a high note, scoring the first eight points of the game and padding a comfortable lead for the rest of the first half. Marc Robertson finished the day with 19 points, and his offensive effort was a much-needed spark of energy for the Majors particularly in the first half.

Defensively, the Majors kept the Crusaders in check for the majority of the game, holding Dallas to only 35 percent shooting on the day. At the beginning of the second half, however, the Crusaders established their first lead of the game. Dustin Aubert’s strong offensive effort swung the momentum in favor of the Majors, and the lead changed eight times before the end of the game. Aubert finished the game with 10 points, as he and Josh McSwain led the offense back to a lead to close out the matchup.

Over the Christmas break, the Majors will play the University of Austin at home Dec. 18, as well as Pensacola Christian and Rust in the Millsaps New Year’s Classic. The team hopes to improve to a winning record in the coming weeks.
